Photo Hut, Tuesday

Jack was whistling to himself a bit at the Photo Hut, wondering how the week would end out. He checked on some of the time-lapse stuff from earlier weeks to see how it was progressing.

Huh. The island had moved.

Sokka must have been too occupied with his candy sale to notice the back stock room over flowing with underwear. G'Kar just sighed and muttered to himself in Narn before collecting it all.

A large basket brimming with undergarments of all kinds of colors, patterns, styles and shapes was sitting dead center in the floor of the store. Along with a sign:

T&C's Undergarment Safety Repository
Keeping your underwear clean and safe.
Please collect your underthings.

a modest donation for underwear safekeeping is appreciated

He wasn't dishonest enough to sell people their own underwear, but if he could get a few bits of change out of them, then that was fine. Besides, it was only a donation. It wasn't like people actually had to pay anything. But they would probably face some embarrassing underwear talk with G'Kar if they didn't.

Hey, it was two days in a row now that he found places stuffed full of underwear. At least the store back room wasn't as bad as his fridge.

Today's Squishy Flavors: Blue Lagoon, Orange Paradise, Yesterday's Socks

He really didn't want to know about that last flavor.

Lana was much happier to have warmer - and drier - weather. She had the doors open to catch the breeze and was curled up in a chair reading while she waited for customers.

Joanna was loving this climate. She wasn't too sure what island it was across the way, but she had more than half a mind to buy it. "Andrew!" she barked. "After you bring me my champaign, you are to go mingle with the natives and see what it would take to procure my paradise. Offer them shiny things first: plastic bead necklaces, glass bonbon trays, Grant's old cuff links -- stuff like that."

She reclined, luxuriating in the sunlight. "And Andrew, send up one of the maids. She is to read aloud from the collected works of John Donne," she said. Joanna was a great fan of the metaphysical poets, even if she didn't really understand it. She took great pleasure in asking her staff to interpret what they had just read, and then laughing at their pathetic attempts.

"And Andrew," she called out again, before he had a chance to make an escape, "I'll have some fresh fruit. And smoked salmon. With capers and a fresh dill sauce."

Andrew stood there, awaiting further instructions. Joanna glared at him. "Well don't just stand there like an idiot! I've given you instructions."

Cafe Fina, Tuesday 6/3

The Cafe was surprisingly quiet; not even Mokona was bouncing around yelling. But that was really only because the dishes had a flair for the dramatic.

The entire place went dark inside, a single spotlight suddenly illuminating one of the circular tables...where Mokona and a set of forks began hula dancing in wee grass skirts.

Sometimes it really was best not to ask.

Settling down at the front desk, Temari brought research material.

Reasearch meaning the odd little fashion magazines she'd managed to pick up. And constantly making small mental notes about how impossibly it would be to move in a fight in some of them.

Although the purple one did draw her eye...

Things had worked out rather well last week.

That said, he had quite a few more non NPC actors worth working with now. Usually that meant one of two things: flare ups between cast members or--

Well, thank goodness none of them had the experience to engage in the other problem, he hoped. He wasn't quite sure if the production could handle a cast united against him at this stage of the game. And not for this play. Lines got drawn too deep in the sand with this play. This play was dangerous, dark.

Which was why he'd picked it.

"Well, better get things started."

Adam was there on time and made sure everything was in order, before settling into the ticket booth. He wondered if anyone would stop by today.

Cat lay in the middle of the aisle, seemingly relaxed, but keeping an eye on the door. This was her territory, after all. At least when the angel wasn't around.

She couldn't not go swimming. With a countdown of weeks before she was returning to the dryness of space, River indulged in the salty water against her skin, occasionally diving under the surface. Then she leaned backwards, floating on her back on the waves and staring up at the clouds, a smile on her face.

Groovy Tunes, Tuesday

Alice still had the morning's meditation practice on her mind as she opened Groovy Tunes. You might notice her slowly moving through the motions as she wandered through the racks.

As for today's musical discovery, this Bjork seemed to pronounce words strangely, but the oddness seemed in tune with Alice's own mood.

After being trapped in a closet for two days and then having gone to class, Jeff was, understandably, late.

He was also kind of dreading the return of Nana. As such, he spent most of his time hiding behind a plant in the lobby, shooting the occasional look at the kitchen.

He wasn't a shrew anymore, and it was Tuesday, so Romeo supposed he should get to work.

Which he did, and promptly replaced the outfit he'd borrowed from the Danger Shop with the best he could find on the racks. He leaned in the doorway, breathing the warm, salty air and wistfully admiring the view of Bali H'ai.

And decidedly not remembering being a rodent.

The store was open.

Donut arrived to work on time and actually helped out in getting the place ready to open for once. As he sat at the bar re-filling the pretzels he debated on whether or not to tell Tino his plan to buy the zombies lei's and grass skirts to wear while the island was in a tropical place. He decided not to, just in case Tino tried to sabotage his attempt to do so. Tino never wanted him to have fun.
