The hall was still full of sleepers.

Luckily, there was plenty of food, coffee, and other drinks around to keep the doctors, nurses, volunteers and worried folk awake and wired and ready to spot any changes in condition.

For her part, Ino dreamt of sleep. But not the creepy sort of sleep. She could live without that, thanks. Unfortunately, she didn't have the time to sleep right now and there was no point in complaining.

There was work to be done, after all.

[Wait for the OCD or I will sic tired grumpy Ino on you. OCD is up, hurrah!]

One mostly sleepless night for hapless clinic workers and volunteers? Check.

Rows and rows of sleeping people? Check and double check. The sleeping people were, in Ino's not-so-humble opinion, really freakin' creepy thank you ever so very much. She didn't like the numbers, at all. Or the fact that nothing yet could be done to wake them up.

(And, maybe okay, she also didn't like the fact that she hadn't gotten much sleep the night before, shut up.)

That didn't stop the nurses, volunteers, and coffee makers from chugging on bravely in the face of all that unrelenting sleep and making sure their patients were properly taken care off.

[Wait for the OCD or I will sic Ino on you OCD is up, up and away!

ETA: Evening/Night post is here]

The calls had started early in the morning, and the patients had followed shortly after, all with the same problem - people had fallen asleep and couldn't be woken up. It didn't take long for it to become clear that the clinic wouldn't hold everyone - there really were a finite number of rooms in the place - and in quite possibly the only instance of anyone ever being grateful for the plague, it wasn't long before Martha, the nurses, and the town hall staff had figured out how to recreate the emergency clinic in the town hall. Cots were set up, supplies were brought over, and the rest of the clinic staff had been contacted. Now, all they needed was to get everyone rounded up to be taken care of, and to try to figure out what was wrong.

The dance was still in full swing. It was still brightly decorated, the music was still pumping and the punch was completely spiked.

Have fun!

Morgana still wasn't entirely certain what CPR was, even after Francine had tried to explain it to her, but she supposed that was the point of the meeting this week. They'd taken over the same picnic shelter, to make themselves nice and easy to find in case the extra posters didn't do the trick, and had tried to make sure there was enough space cleared for the demonstration.

If they ended up with more boys today than they'd had last week, there'd be no complaining. Probably.

Mina Harker was in the park, entirely under-dressed. Tiny shorts, an incredibly too tight black tank top, various leather straps, holsters, and the like... it was not an outfit one would normally see the Victorian woman wearing.

Currently, Mina was attempting to climb a tree.

Well, if you counted repeated jumping at a tree branch and failing to grab it 'climb'.

She'd also back up from the tree, and run at it... and sort of fail to jump and just run into the tree

Though she did look absolutely stunning while doing it.

[ooc: Open! Yes, Mina is acting like Lara Croft, as played by someone who sucks at Tomb Raider

Chronology note: All threads come before Minsc's, please.]

Marion had spent most of the afternoon decorating the bar with Valentine's decorations she handwavily got from Turtle & Canary. The whole red and pink theme was kind of making her gag but it was Valentine's Day and people were here to find love or whatever.

Marion hoped she was getting a bonus for this or something

After she had set all the decorations and tables up, she put out a nice sign:

Caritas Presents
THREE MINUTE DATES

Hosted by Marion Ravenwood
Reject people real fast

When everyone arrived, Marion got on stage and grabbed the mic. "Okay everyone, this is how this is gonna work. I call your name and someone else's. You get together. You guys talk for three minutes, get to know each other and then you'll hear this," Marion put a whistle into her mouth and blew. "Then I call your name with someone else's and then you switch. Then you do the same thing again. Five times total. Questions? No? Good!"

Then she blew the whistle for fun.

[3 minutes = 10 comments, 5 for each of you. You can do these out of order but try not to Joss yourselves. Up early for great SP justice]

Signs had been handwavily put up around town throughout the day indicating that this was the place and this was the time. New Year's Eve in Fandom, in one of the abandoned warehouses (although it had been tidied up and decorated). Showgirls carrying champagne flutes, a live band playing, and a big glowy ball hanging from the rafters with a countdown clock displayed.

It was time for G.O.B. Bluth's New Year's Illusionin' Eve! Brought to you by a Host Named G.O.B.! Making his triumphant return to Fandom! Exclamations!

[OOC: Up early to accommodate all of you silly people who have work, timezone issues, or social events. Post is open to students, teachers, townies, alum, and ex-pats! Kindly wait for OCD. OCD is up! Have at it!]

Mina sat at a table, a black coffee cradled in her gloved hands. She had prearranged a meeting about a potential job, a good cover for her... other activities in town.

She did not stare at the other customers, as that would be improper. But it was rather startling how the populace dressed and talked, in this time.

[ooc: Expecting one, but Mina is available before/after that meeting, and the Perk is open for other needs as well!]

Like the dutiful landlord (yeah fucking right) that he was, Loki was back behind the MHA desk this morning. Feet up and hands behind his head, he'd taken to listening to the radio in hopes that he'd be fucking entertained.

No luck thus far. All this fucking radio station (it was the only one that got reception and Loki was blaming that on Metatron too) played was sad love ballads and talk radio where the deejays thought they were fucking psychologists. Any person stupid enough to call up to a radio talk show host for advice deserved what they fucking got.

Maybe he needed to do something about his constant bad attitude.

...yeah fucking right.

[MHA is open! Info is here. Feel free to rent an apartment or talk to the angel.]

Jolee and Tino were stocking plenty of clean glasses behind the bar. This weekend meant family. Family meant drinking. It was a fact of life. It's part of the reason why Jolee never bothered with a family after breaking from the Jedi: he preferred sobriety.

The preparations ended when the door opened and Jolee felt an all-too familiar presence. "I'm sorry, Tino, but it looks like you're on your own tonight," he said, turning to face Revan. "We'll be in the lounge if you need me for anything."

[OOC: I'm totally cheating and making this a mod Tino night. As stated above, Jolee will be in the lounge if anyone wants to talk to him specifically.]

It hadn't taken Martha long to get settled after she arrived on the island. Her room at the hotel was lovely - someone was getting a special thanks for setting that up, and not sticking her in some cheap little room - and she'd finalized all the details to check out the clinic tomorrow. That gave her all evening to explore, and she decided to start with scoping out the most basic necessity: coffee. So far, everything was meeting with her approval.
