The day of the wedding had finally arrived, and sometime during the morning, the church had been made ready. For the most part, that meant there quite a few flower arrangements around, in spots that might not have seen flowers in a while.

The two sides of the church were as separated as always, but no one was going to argue about which side was the bride's and which side was the groom's. After all, everyone had come together to celebrate a new union.

And if they all prayed together that nothing would attack the island until tomorrow, well, that would be a bonus.

Welcome to the wedding!

Turtle frowned at the Jamie puppy under the counter, who she had dragged with her to work again so that she could take care of all the dupe puppies she'd made Thursday, and shook her head. "My goal was fifty bucks," she informed him. "I made fifteen. You owe me thirty five once you have pockets, a wallet, and opposable thumbs again, or no one will be able to distinguish you from Lulubelle next time."

She settled in behind the counter, opened up a newspaper, waiting for the rented puppies to return, and expected a slow business day because of the wedding. Or maybe a busy one, for all the little details that people sometimes forgot and rushed around like crazy to cover their butts over.

Since Chad had skipped out on opening the shop yesterday to see the lemurs dance (which, by the way, was totally worth the slight in responsibility), he made sure to come in this afternoon to open it, although he doubted that if anyone hadn't wanted to get music yesterday, today probably wouldn't be much different. Still, he got to relax a little, flipping through his magazines, and have a nice quiet day.

Groovy Tunes is open!

Gunther hoped things would be quiet this Saturday since his boss was at that wedding. The sous chef had the tea service set up on the buffet, and Gunther was playing with the computer at the front desk. If any of the hotel's automatic key cards stopped working today, it would probably be his fault.

[Open! Please mod your service today.]

Jaye didn't realize it was Saturday. Jaye was therefore sitting in her apartment and watching some horrible movie she was sure she'd once playing at the theather downstairs. Fitting.

This meant that Tino was at the bar himself tonight, and wondering if Barney would hit on him in Jaye's absence.

Gone for the evening, please to be modding Tino!]

Toby was bored. There was a party in town and he didn't get to go even though he was wearing his formal dark jeans, grey t-shirt, and black jean jacket. He looked hot. And potentially dressed for a funeral. Hmm.

Toby satisfied himself with trying on happier styles of clothing for most of the day.

The reception room in Town Hall had been done up in much the same way as the church, with flower arrangements and simple, basic decorations. The soft lights and candles throughout the room gave the whole place a romantic glow as smaller tables were set up for the guests, and a larger table was set up for the new couple and their family.

Once everything was in place, the doors were opened for the reception to begin.

Kevin was trying to brush up on his art smarts. He had a book and he was going through reading the captions on all the pictures.

The exhibit was still looking like it looked. He guessed that was a good thing.

Ned had gone out.

Yes, this was a major accomplishment. He was pretty sure he wasn't going to run into any errant demon leftover from last weekend but he was packing anyway.

Yes folks, he had a rolling pin. Just in case.

But, it wasn't needed now since he was safely inside, had safely procured a pastry and was safely sitting in a chair.

See? Accomplishment.

[Open, of course.]

If there was one thing Dick had really been letting slip since coming to Fandom, it was his exercises. He was going to start to fix that. After all, he never knew if or when Bruce would call him back for any reason. It was in his own best interests to keep himself in top shape.

That meant laps around the park tonight. The goal was to keep on running until he felt sick from it. Under the Batman training, that was merely step one.

[OOC: Open for anyone else who might happen to be in the park this fine evening.]
