Tony sighed and moved closer to the warm body in bed with him this morning, not really noticing anything out of the ordinary just yet. That would come later.

Like, oh say... now.

Because he was on the floor. And he sure as hell would never decorate with a crucifix. And he was taller than the person with him.

"Huh."

[[For that guy with him(modded with permission), but the church is open!]]

After his own personal encounter with someone from his potential future and listening to the radio last evening, Worf had taken additional steps to make sure the weapons at the store were locked down tighter than usual.

Mostly so the people at school and in town wouldn't attempt to use them either on each other or on themselves.

Wellpspring was open and as usual: Nothing is for sale.

Thinking yourself as a country trying to invade everyone and being mean to little girls was still, thankfully, not the weirdest thing that Fandom had ever thrown at Chad. The island would have to get pretty creative to beat that one time it turned him into tea for a weekend.

But still, as he came in to the shop for work today, he was thinking that if he never saw a bratwurst, sauerkraut, or green leiderhosen again, he would be just absolutely fine with that.

Pants! Glorious pants! Not that Daisy had anything against short shorts; in fact, she was very pleased to discover that a tiny pair of denim appeared to remain in her apartment and that she and her alter ego of the weekend were just about the same size. Almost. She didn't have the Other Daisy's hips, but made up for it in caboose. They were totally cute and something she might actually wear.

...Just not in February.

So Detective Constable Day had pants, she had a very large mug of disgusting coffee, and she had herself stationed at her computer and ready to go and half-expecting that maybe they'd even get some real work today, if a quick glance over radio transcripts might be any indication.

Pity she was too busy being a Southern belle to fight all that crime that seemed to have occured.

Romeo had spent the weekend looking like his 14-year-old self and making sandwiches, and, after more than a year in Fandom, he regarded that as more or less par for the course. So it was with no great sense of embarrassment that brushed himself off and went to town to open the shop.

He did, however, rather viciously pitch any flannel and baseball caps lurking around into the bin of things to be burned. After a weekend in both, he was more aware than ever that the '90s were over.

Pixie Dust was open.

[OOC: Open shop, OCD-free]

A very confused Joan showed up on time to open the flower shop. She wondered if there was any reasonable explanation for why she had spent the weekend thinking she was some hippie chick documentary filmmaker named Tibby.

Thanks to her confusion, the E was missing from the sign today. She didn't even think about making a new one.

There was no sign of Lacey this morning, but the dishwasher and cook were mumbling something to the effect of fake blood and protest signs all over her apartment, and a cleaning frenzy.

They were kind of disappointed; they'd been hoping to make fun of her.

Oh well. It wasn't like they never had opportunities for mockery on normal days either.

[OOC: OCD-free and moddable; not feeling so well today and may be leaving work early.]

Alex had missed the excitement (or horror, for some) of the weekend, having been stuck in her room with a cold. She'd listened to the radio though and boy, was she glad she'd stayed normal. As normal as a teenage wizard could be.

She gave the store a quick sweep and set to re-stocking the shelves.

The Magic Box's open.

Triela had a headache, but she came in to work anyway.

It wasn't a bad headache, really, but whenever she had one she couldn't help being reminded that she wasn't allowed to take over-the-counter painkillers. Which was intensely frustrating. Which, in turn, only made her headache worse.

So she fed the fish and checked on Leonard (well, she opened the closet door to make sure he was still there, then slammed it closed as he leaned forward... it sort of sounded like she bounced his head off the wall...) Then she collapsed at her desk and glared at the phone.

Just daring it to ring.

Ender hadn't really noticed anything being strange until the radio broadcast on Saturday. He felt it was only useful to spend most of his time on the mouse-droid anyway, as well as his plans for the satellite. Going out while the world went crazy wasn't his idea of constructive, and because it was Fandom, it went away anyway.

On Monday, he did head into Stark's, though. If it'd been a weekend, things should be back to normal. If it hadn't, there was still plenty of work to do, and he could keep doing it.

Cable had left Deadpool to his shower (and had wondered, vaguely, if Wade was going to leave it before the end of the day) and made his way to work with a coffee and a dog.

He felt Tether had earned the trip.

"At least you didn't call me this time," Irene snerked over the phone, "Although now I'm kind of disappointed."

"Just wait until you move here."

"Never going to happen. Now... Sri Lanka."

Sokka had woken up this morning. That was good. That was better than he'd managed on Saturday and Sunday. An entire weekend of people gone crazy, and he'd missed it!!! And he'd missed radio, too.

Also, his mouth tasted like dirty sweat sock, no matter how much gum he chewed. And he had a hungry and lonely chinchilla, which he decided to bring to work with him today.

After the requisite amount of chinchilla-cuddling, he left Liz in charge of Momo Jr. and started hunting through the store for any sign of the radio squirrels -- maybe he could convince them to carry around video cameras for him.

The sign in the window read:
SALE:
25% off your entire purchase if you tell me something embarrassing you did this weekend

It had been another one of those weekends; oddly enough though nothing had happened to Yondaime this time, though the same couldn’t really be said of others he knew.
At least Tino, the zombies and T1 seemed to all be in one piece, well... as much as the zombies ever were, and there wasn't anything that had to be cleaned.

[Not feeling really good so feel free to mod Tino plz]

Firekeeper was hungry. And today, overly-processed human food just wasn't going to cut it. No, today she and Blind Seer were hunting as proper wolves do.

Which meant, currently, wading in the rather cold stream and attempting to snatch fish from the water.

[ooc: expecting one but open like the outdoors!]

The Gig, Monday

Bender had woken up in a heap in field with his first and only hangover. It was only when he'd made it into work that he noticed he was heavier than usual. Jimmying open his front showed a stack of undigested pastries and doughnuts.

The taste and flavour was gone along with his squishy tastebuds, and Bender stuffed the softening cakes into a bucket and hung it on the paddock wall, telling the horses, "Can't say Bender doesn't share the loot."

Then with a hasty snickering, "Not like I wanted it anyway," he sat down, cracking open a bottle of bitter.

Yes. Fourth night in a row. Even if things were back to normal, Buffy was out again, though way less loaded down in weapons than before. In fact, she was sitting on a park bench, notebook out, working. On a review for Journalism class.

This Weekend: A Review, by Buffy Summers

This weekend sucked ass big ass. Here is why.

Living right across the hallway from your date made the whole meeting up to walk over to where you were having dinner thing incredibly easy, Daisy had to admit. It got the conversation started and you barely even had to wait for the other person to get there or anything like that. By the time she and Ben actually got to the sushi place and tok a seat, Daisy couldn't help looking around with a grin and wondering out loud, "Now, why haven't I been here yet?"

[[ Daisy's here with the permissably modded daaaaaaaaate, but open for all your sushi needs! ]]

While Liz had not done anything incredibly embarrassing over the weekend, she had been horrified to wake up and remember that her alternate self had hated her cat. At least she had still fed Blackie over the weekend but it wasn't without great reluctance as she recalled.

That was why Liz had Blackie with her when she came in for her shift, she didn't want to let her out of her sight.
