No announcement had been made concerning the cancellation of Fight Club, so as members fought their way to Atlas Gym, snow continued to come down around them. Huge drifts of it, starting to reach astronomical heights.

Once people got the gym, however, they'd find their fearless leaders outside, one large pile of snowballs already sculpted and stacked in the middle of the road. "Time to put theory into practice," Ghanima called out, not looking the least bit cold or uncomfortable. Someone was cheating and already manipulating her body in the Bene Gesserit fashion; not feeling the weather was fantastic. "No quarter, and no mercy."

Tyler, meanwhile, was cold, borderline miserable, and warmed only a bit by his thoughts of dropping snow down Ghanima's collar. Yeah, he fought dirty. "Which means a snowball fight," he explained, and gestured to divide the crowd. "You guys here are red team, you guys there are blue team. Group with the most people standing in an hour wins."

He glanced over to Ghanima, and, reluctantly, added, "Rocks with a little bit of snow on them are not appropriate artillery."

"And if someone does yield, go find another target," she continued. "There's no honor in putting a defeated foe into a snowbank."

Off hours, Tyler might have argued that it could be funny. In front of the club ... "Right," he said. "Let's get to it."

"Getting here would have been easier if I had a taun taun," Kyle mused as he walked into the office today. He didn't take his coat off when he got in, though. He knew that he was going to have a case right away. It was The Case of Trying To Shovel the Sidewalk So That People Can Get Inside a Little More Easily If They Are Stranded In The Blizzard and Need To Come Into a Building and Sit By A Fire.

That was not an official case title.

[OOC: OCD is in the snow somewhere.]

There were no arguments about whether to go outside or stay in today.

There was, however, a firepit in the middle of the barn floor, with a small (carefully controlled, thank you) fire crackling away to keep wolves and horses warm.

Tending the horses was at least a welcome distraction from worrying (though she'd never admit out loud to worrying) about Tahiri. Their conversation of a few weeks ago had been reassuring as to the fact that her friend was following the right trail, at least.

Biff came from the Middle East, where his God spoke to His Chosen People through fire and not ice. Biff had bitched about the weather his entire way across Central Asia, across Afghanistan, across China, and all the way back to Jerusalem.

So if you think Biff, bundled up in just about every piece of clothing he owned (the look was...interesting), wasn't going to bitch your ear off about the weather if you came through that door, you didn't know Biff very well.

[OOC: The OCD wonders why it doesn't have snow outside its windows. This has been confusing it all weekend.]

Clark was far too chipper in the face of cold, snow, and Tino staring at the TV.

When Clark asked why the bar TV wasn't tuned to sports as usual, he was met with a shocked glare and the insistence that Ryan Seacrest working the red carpet was better than men in tight pants grunting as they fought over a ball.

Knowing when not to fight, Clark lifted his hands in surrender and moved to the other end of the bar to unpack a bag of cookies and to work on finding all the ingredients to make up a big batch of his mom's special recipe for cocoa.
