When her staff straggled into the diner today, Lacey noticed the averted gazes and mumbling shuffling postures that usually meant they'd all been up to something embarrassing. Occasional casual queries only netted her more evasive behavior until finally, the busboy made a strangled squeaking sort of noise and fled into the storage closet.

"Ohhhhhhhhhhhh." Lacey looked around at the others. "I missed out on one of those weekends again."

Luke's is open, and in a not-unwelcome twist of role reversal, Lacey gets amusement at everyone else's expense today. Whee!

Ender barely remembered bits and pieces from the weekend, but if he were entirely honest, what he did remember scared him. Not what Peter had told Ben, of which he remembered very little, but the fact of him himself.

He was closer to Peter than he'd like to think.

That thought drove him away from the front of the shop and the lemons hidden throughout, and towards the back. He wasn't stupid enough to think Ben would leave him alone, but he could at least get busy working.

And thinking.

So the traditional Japanese way of going into an onsen was naked.

Tara ... reasoned she was not traditional. Nor was she Japanese. So, after a weekend blissfuly free of weird, she was still in her bathing suit as she walked around the edge of the hot pool a tentatively. She was into the idea, but there was one factor that had her worried.

"Is it really, really hot?" she asked the girl with her, as if the not-quite-a-slayer package came with the ability to sense temperatures through sight.

There was no trying on of pretty (but impractical outfits today), or even any burning the ugly things. Today, Makita was behind the counter, drinking directly from the bottle of vodka and wishing she was back in Nokgorka. At least things there made sense.

Pixie Dust was open, but if you mention eggs or frying pans, you may get the register chucked at your head.

Alex had no idea anything strange had been going on until she'd heard radio the other night and as she opened the store, she hoped everyone was back to normal.

And thanking Fandom that she'd stayed herself.

Alex moved around the store, checking on things and replacing items here and there. And she was even whistling a tune while she did so. Go figure.

The Magic Box is open.

Worf did not remember anything over the weekend. All he knew is that he woke up floundering around in the water and for some reason being tied to another humanoid

"This is NOT acceptable!" he shouted. "I demand to know who you are and why you are tied to me!"

Claudia was late into work today, having woken up convinced that today was Saturday and that she'd had a very vivid dream about being some guy named Zane.

Look, it made sense her head, okay? More than actually turning into some guy named Zane for two days.

She didn't notice her mistake until she logged onto her computer and discovered notes a few helpful hints about the mechanics of human teleportation on her notes file and a page displaying fairly hefty sum of money in a numbered bank account.

Zane, apparently, had a bit of a Robin Hoodish hobby on the side.

She had her computer at work with her today, trying to work out whether she wanted to donate that money, keep it, or give it back, somehow.

Mirax had missed out on the weirdness this weekend because her player is fail, but she'd listened to radio, oh yes.

Which was the cause of the sign.

Dani had reached an uneasy truce with the chickens. While she was working in the office, one of the chickens was sitting on her lap. Every so often, she would grumble, "This wasn't in my business plan." That didn't mean she was about to kick the chicken out of her lap.

Anyone entering the barn might have been surprised to see the other chicken was perched on Duke's back, but like Dani, he wasn't doing anything to get rid of it.

The Gig was open!

Karla'd never had a job before and was both excited and nervous on her first day. The store suddenly looked very different to her, even though she and Dinah had helped 'Dite set it up just a month ago. There was a big difference being in the store as 'Dite's friend and being in the store as 'Dite's newest employee.

If she was going to be a good employee, she was going to have to be familiar with the things 'Dite stocked. So she was examining the displays closest to the register, resolutely reminding herself that she was both a Healer and a Black Widow and that nothing in this store should be able to embarrass her.

...Except that. That was allowed to embarrass her. Yeah, she'd just be over here, standing behind the register, touching nothing. And blushing. A lot.

[Open! Please wait for OCD up!]

Once again, Adrian hadn't turned into anything this weekend, and instead got to watch everyone else be insane. For that reason, he loved this town. And he got to work the bar on Monday, meaning anyone who stopped in was going to get one of those knowing looks from someone who listened to radio.

Ignore that he was repressing certain parts of the weekend. Like Dimitri's parts.

After her weird run-in with Dimitri yesterday, Ashley decided to listen to the radio broadcast. When she heard what was going on, she was grateful that she hadn't done anything with him.

Of course, today seemed weird today, with no Jessi in sight.

It was safe to say that Vimes wasn't exactly pleased to be part of the latest bit of Fandom insanity. Now, he could probably hand being a woman or a child because then he'd still be himself.

But some weird ginger girl?

No way on the Disc.

And he had some kid in his cells. This did not make for a very happy sheriff.

This weekend had been interesting. He wondered if this was how people in Sunnydale had felt after that one Halloween.

After putting up a banner in the window;

HAPPY INTERNATIONAL WOMEN'S DAY

He spent much of the day seeing if he could still do those sleight of hand tricks.

Welcome to Holiday Grove.

After hearing about everything that had been going on over the weekend, Liz was rather relieved that she hadn't been affected by the latest weirdness to strike Fandom. She made it to work on time and made sure that everything was set up and that the specials were placed out before she opened.

Welcome to the Arms Hotel!
