Ino?

Ino was still annoyed at Reno for yesterday. She didn’t get what had pissed him off so badly and so, because she couldn’t help it, she was writing out a list of ways it would be possible to keep a chocobo on the island.

Even if she never showed the list to him (and considering what was, in her opinion, his vast over-reaction to her ideas, Ino wasn’t planning on showing him the list) it would make her feel better to have it.

The mind of Ino worked in strange ways at times.

Vast amusement was... possibly not the usual reaction to holding the first day of tryouts, no. Especially not when he actually did want people to stop by.

But Genesis rarely went for the usual reaction if he was in a position where he could, for all intents and purposes, pick his reaction. Being contrary was far more amusing as he saw it.

Besides, it was not as if he planned to laugh in their faces.

... He could only hope that, should anyone come by, they’d be talented enough that he wouldn’t have to work to keep from laughing. There was little point in scaring them off before he’d gotten them up on stage, after all.

With no classes to occupy his time today, Bod found himself in town for no other reason than he felt like being outside. The weather was gradually cooling down and he was hungry enough to stop at the bakery to pick up some pastries. Those had become a bit of a weakness over the past several months.

He hadn't stayed inside though. Bod had taken both his bag of assorted pastries and his coffee (it was something he was determined to try) to one of the tables outside so he could sit under the sun and feel the slight breeze ruffle through his hair.

He didn't know what he'd do this weekend but he felt like doing something. Maybe he'd find some place upstate with nature trails or just some place where he could walk around idly and feel a little less closed in than the island sometimes made him feel.

For now, sitting outside with his legs kicked out and a donut in front of him was good enough. He was comfortable and warm and lazy.

Another box of worn novels had arrived at the shop today, so, of course, Alexander, after putting a few away, had found himself entirely engrossed in one that he had started reading.

He was pretty sure it was all Maladicta and her picture last night's fault.

Today Shelley was going to concentrate on sprucing up the accessory areas of the store. People just didn't seem to realize how the perfect belt could take an outfit to a whole new level of awesome. And if you could find one that matched your bag, it was magic.

Lion-o eyed the new salad bar. He didn't personally care for salad, but he figured that it was a nice addition for those who didn't eat meat. And speaking of meat...

"Please tell me you've got real food for me today," he pleaded with the cook, who did not disappoint him.

In between dusting the shelves, Dru was checking out merchandise looking for an appropriate birthday gift for Ino.

Alex was still in a mood when he stomped into Caritas on Wednesday. He went straight for the booze and straight for the hard stuff. Tino just made sure to stay out of his way and was content to busy himself at the opposite end of the bar tonight.

The zombie band seemingly didn't care about Alex's mood and decided that tonight would be a night for uptempo, fast paced, cheerful music. Alex hated the zombie band.

Zatanna had had enough healthy food already; not it was time for some extra-hot chocolate and bagels and cupcakes! And a number of little sweet groceries she was going to eat all herself, unless someone had valuable trade items at hand. Or spare cash to buy more little sweet pieces of goodness, that counted as well.

~~She was totally still sulking not being able to help with the flying fish.~~ She was totally over the whole piranha thing. Totally. And it's not like there won't be other chances, thought as she remembered that wasn't probably the kind of ideas she should have regarding the invasions.

Sighing, Zatanna took another sip that would surely leave her without a sense of taste until tomorrow.

Alex was, as per her usual, checking out the gossip on Above The Law. Which today involved sexually repressed lawyers, something about Jennifer Aniston, something else about picking lawyers based on them having good legs.

Huh. In that case, she shouldn't be having the slump she was having right now.
