Firekeeper knew it was going to be one of those days when she opened up the door to the barn and was pelted with a cascade of pastel-colored candies.

Much like the stuffed toy, the horses had no idea who was responsible for such a thing. Firekeeper figured it was safe to blame Fandom when, the second Blind Seer went to go sprawl on a pile of hay for a nap, it turned in to a pile of more candy before their eyes.

The Gig was open. And full of candy.

Reno was making a weird face, again, at Fixer-Uppers. But this time, it wasn't at the hideous sign. Uh. Often.

No, no. Today, there were little cards all tucked in and around the shelves, sitting in the toolboxes and just generally getting in Reno's way.

Will You Bee Mine? they asked. I Choo-Choo-Choose You!

Reno made a face as he set about to clearing them away. He had no idea where the hell they came from, as none of them were signed. Maybe he'd hang on to them for next week or something. Wasn't that stupid holiday next week? And hopefully nobody who got them would realize that they were both a) really stupid, and b) scented like gasoline.

[Open! With teeny SP warnings off and on, while I do homework!]

Slogging to work through the snow had not exactly been fun, even if it did make Dolf nostalgic for the Alps. Now he had snow in his boots, and snow up his trousers, and he was pretty sure that the little flash of giggling green he'd seen was responsible for the fact that there was snow on his neck, slowly sliding down into his shirt.

Instead of rambling at Apu upon entry, as was his wont, Dolf simply flopped down behind the counter this time, and began to shake snow out of his sleeves. "You know, it could be worse," he said, about five minutes later, once most of it had been removed. "If we were home, then the trains would have stopped going by now."

The island wasn't actually big enough to need trains, Apu pointed out, sighing as he sweeped away the snow Dolf had dropped everywhere.

Sadly, that had been the wrong answer.

"I miss trains," Dolf sighed, and doomed himself and Apu to a day of feeling very, very homesick.

Today's Squishy flavours: Snow, Yellow & Blue, Red.

Turtle and Canary was open!
