"Good evening, everybody." Hanna smiled at them, and seeing much of the same confusion that seemed to be her lot this week, introduced herself. "I'm Doctor Hanna Lecter. Apparently this island has decided to play tricks. However, let me assure you that this is still Conversational Lithuanian, and there is still food." She waved at it, smiling a little.

"I thought in honor of the trip to Bali, we'd cover a bit of travel dialogue this week. So, the vocabulary for today:"

Where are you from?Iš kur jūs esate? Iš kur tu esi?
I'm from ...Aš iš ...
carautomobilis/mašiną
busautobusas
trucksunkvežimis (SUHNK-veh-zhih-mihs)
traintraukinys
shiplaivas
airplanelėktuvas
Do you have any rooms available?Ar turite laisvų kambarių?

(Also the Transportation and Hotel sections here.)

She wrote it on the board and stepped back. "So, how was everybody's week? And your vacation, if you had one?"

Dominic wasn't much use in the kitchen with his bandaged right hand, and trying to work on sketches for his next art class project at the counter was even worse. (It was weird, to realize he'd be more okay if he was stuck in the wrong universe forever than he would be if he never had full use of his hand again, but there it was.)

Eventually he retreated to the relative safety of his Vonnegut novel. Turning pages one-handed was no problem.

Kitty was in a better mood today than she had been yesterday, and was all set to have a nice, normal shift at work tonight. Even the constant Disney songs as played by zombies wasn't terrible.

At first. Now she was just trying to figure out what songs to request to distract them, which would be a lot easier without all these Disney songs in her head.

Éponine wasn't asking why there was a ping-pong table set up in the middle of the post office lobby today. She just wasn't. If it kept the customers occupied while waiting in line, she wouldn't complain.

She might, however, eventually get extremely annoyed if they kept swinging their paddles too hard and getting the ping-pong balls lodged in the light fixtures, because guess who would probably end up stuck with the job of retrieving them? Yes, she could reach up and pull them out without getting herself stuck in the process, but it wasn't like she enjoyed being this thin.

Maybe she could just conveniently take a long time on her delivery route today.

So, Squall had bought the place.

It was sort of a mess right now, since he was insisting on moving the cards to the front and the comics to the back. The work kept him busy, though, and it was sort of fun to discover what was here. It was better than worrying about why Jono still hadn't left his room.

The (NPC) clerk was having a fit over the changes he was making, but Squall was sure the guy would get over it. Probably. People could be weird about things sometimes.

Evan was better rested today than he'd been since coming back from vacation, which really didn't say much at all. He still looked tired - he even slept poorly on the spring trip, up all night staring at ceilings, thinking to himself - but he'd had a warm bed last night in a hotel room, and his things seemed to all still be in order when he woke up in the morning, so that was one less thing to worry about today.

Besides that, he was starting to get a little concerned about where Rosalind had gone. It wasn't that he didn't think she could take care of herself, but she just kind of fell out of touch with her employees all at once, out of nowhere, and she really didn't seem like the type.

He was frowning as he put out a new shipment of books, wondering if maybe he should make the next order himself, since it didn't look like Rosalind had been in to put the order in this week at all.

Weird.

Mary spent most of her shift gawking at pictures on her phone. She only spoke up when Gunther entered the lobby. "You will not believe this, Gunther, but Delinda dyed her hair. Look, she sent me a picture. She's a redhead now!" she squealed.

Then Gunther had to open his mouth and wonder how Danny liked being married to a redhead. Mary ended up staring off into space for the rest of the day, thinking about what might have been.
